Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (BCECE) is a state level exam which is conducted per year by Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB).this is one of the most popular state conducting exams in India.Candidates have to qualify 2 stages (Stage I and Stage II) of the examination to get admission in the desired courses in Collages and institutes after successful registration for the examination.They offering admission in various UG programs in the fields of Agriculture, Medical, Engineering, and Technology.

BCECE 2022 Exam Pattern elaborates about the format of the entrance Exam conducted by Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board for admission. This examination will be held in two stages. Candidates who qualifying in the 1st stage they have to appear in the 2nd stage of the entrance Exam. The format for both the stages of examination differs.

BCECE Stage I Exam Details

BCECE 2022 is an objective type 2 stage based Entrance Examination. A candidate who clears 1st stage only they are eligible for Second stage Examination. Two separate admit card is being issued by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) for 1st and 2nd stage Exam.

Summary of Exam

• Number of Questions : Total 150 questions in stage I .
• Duration: The candidates have to solve the question paper in 2 hours 15 minutes.
• Question Paper Type: Objective Type Questions consisting of 4 alternative options.
• Language: Both the stages of the question paper will be asked in the English language and below then Hindi translation will be given.
• Subjects: The question paper covers the Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry subjects.
• Mode of Exam: Examination will be conducted in pen and paper based mode.
• Marking Scheme: For every correct response will carry +4 marks.and
• Negative Marking: For every wrong answer will carry -1 mark.

BCECE Stage II Exam Details

Candidates who qualify the stage I will be eligible for Stage II examination.

Summary of Exam

• Number of Questions : Total 300 questions in BCECE 2022 stage II .
• Duration: Time allotted to each subject is 90 minutes it means the total duration assigned to solve BCECE
• stage-2 examination is 4 hours and 30 minutes.
• Question Paper Type: Objective Type Questions consisting of 4 alternative options.
• Language: Both the stages of the question paper will be asked in the English language and below then Hindi translation will be given.
• Subjects: The question paper covers the Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry subjects.
• Mode of Exam: Examination will be conducted in pen and paper based mode.
• Marking Scheme: For every correct response will carry +4 marks.and
• Negative Marking: For every wrong answer will carry -1 mark.

Note: Candidates have to appear separately for each subject. Total duration allotted for each paper will be of 1 ½ hours. There will be a time gap between two consecutive paper is 30 minutes.
