The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) oversees the NIOS On-Demand Examination (ODE) to understudies in the 10th and 12th levels. NIOS on Demand Exam Specifications
NIOS ODE Exam allows you to apply for it from 4th Jan Onwards. It is divided into two streams, which are discussed below:
- Secondary Level: NIOS ODE is for you who took the Board exam but did not pass or who were unable to take the exam. If you have completed your 10th but wish to further their education can enroll in one or up to four classes that will function as a supplement to their grades.
- Senior Secondary Level: If you have passed the board exam through a recognised board can enrol in one or up to four topics to improve their marks. ODE is also for you who took the Board exam but did not pass, as well as those who were unable to take the exam.
- Due to the Board exam, there will be no exams in April, May, October, and November.
- On-Demand NIOS Exams are held the entire year, and understudies or you can involve yourself at whatever point you are prepared for them.
- NIOS On Demand Exam are solely given in English and Hindi. However, students are permitted to respond to the questions in their native language as well. However, applicants will not be given questions in any regional language.

Eligibility Criteria For NIOS on Demand Exam
Students that meet the NIOS On Demand Exam eligibility criteria can apply for admission to NIOS On Demand Exam 2022. The following are the requirements for online NIOS On Demand Exam admission:
For 10th class
- Students who wish to take the online NIOS On Demand Exam at 10th must be 14 years old or older.
- If you have studied 10th examinations but has not completed them or who wishes to improve their performance is entitled to take the exam.
- If you have filed a self-certificate stating, “I have studied enough to be able to undertake a secondary course,” may also be admitted.
For 12th class
- Students must be 15 or older to apply for the NIOS On Demand Exam senior secondary exam.
- Only those who have finished a secondary course from a recognised board are eligible to take the senior secondary exam.

Required Documents For NIOS On Demand Exam System
A scanned copy of the papers must be uploaded by the student enrolling for NIOS On Demand Exam admission. These documents serve as proof of eligibility for NIOS On Demand Exam entrance.
- If passed in one or two subjects, the original failed mark sheet from class 10th or class 12th.
- Original admission card from class 10th or class 12th if all courses failed.
- For class 12th ODE admission, a photocopy of the class 10th mark sheet and passing certificate is required.
- 4 passport-sized colour pictures of the applicant.
- The student’s Aadhar card, as well as the guardian/parents.
- Photocopy of Address proof.
NIOS ON On Demand Exam Certification Criteria
The following are the NIOS On Demand Exam certification standards provided out by NIOS to pass a topic from the NIOS On Demand Examination and obtain a NIOS On Demand Exam certificate of 10th or 12th courses:
- For Class 10th: A minimum of 33% in the aggregate, including theoretical and practical (if applicable) in the public examination. - For Class 12th: at least 33% in total, just as separately in hypothetical and down to earth, in the board Examination. The student must pass 5 topics, including at least one but no more than two languages, to receive a online ODE NIOS certificate.
Registration Process For NIOS on Demand Exam (ODE)
Fill out the NIOS Registration Process 2022 form for NIOS online ODE Exam by following the instructions outlined below:
- To use the NIOS On Demand Examination System (ODES), the student must first register as a genuine NIOS student with an Enrolment Number and a valid Identity Card.
- Existing students can only register for the NIOS On Demand 2022 exams via the Internet. You may learn more about the ODE 2022 registration process by visiting the NIOS official website.
- Understudies or students in Stream-1 Block-I and II can enlist for ODE online solely after the April/May and October/November public assessments.

- Applicants must register using an OTP sent to their cell phone or email. Fill out the NIOS ODE application form and submit the necessary papers. Choose a subject, a exam centre, a payment method, and an exam date.
